Oldham County overwhelmed the Trimble County Raiders in every aspect of the game in last week’s opening round of the 29th District Tournament played in Bedford. The Colonels entered post-season play as the top-ranked team in the Eighth Region and proved their prowess early in the Tuesday night quarterfinal by blasting out to a 14-0 lead before Trimble managed to put any points on the board.
The Raiders coughed up the ball without firing off a shot in their first 10 possessions and were fortunate to be trailing by only 11 points at the first quarter stop.
