Bridgette Perkins, board president for Trimble County Little League Baseball, said although unfortunate, there is no foreseeable way to ensure all state and federal guidelines could be met in order to start this year’s season.
“We worked with the county officials, had discussions amongst our boards, things passed on from the state and federal level made us realize — we had to cancel the season.”
