It took the Trimble County Lady Raiders a few minutes to settle down following the excitement of Homecoming festivities — eight minutes, in fact. After a slow start for both teams saw the first quarter scoreboard exhibiting a paltry 4-3 score in Trimble’s favor, the host ladies roared to life in the second quarter to outscore the visiting Villa Madonna Vikings 22-6 en route to a 58-39 triumph in a night that saw both Trimble varsities take a clean sweep of Homecoming foes.
