Trimble County’s Lady Raiders came out of the gate on fire during Friday’s home matchup against 29th District opponent Oldham County, but as many horses who have set an early pace have learned it’s not the first mile that wins the race, it’s the last mile when day is done that tells the story. In the end, Trimble was overwhelmed by the more experienced Lady Colonels, 67-34.
