With all but one player returning from last year’s team the Trimble County Raiders show promise of an improved season on the baseball diamond this spring.
The 2017 Raiders soldiered through a 7-17 campaign overall, winning only 5 of 21 games against Eighth Region foes. The Raiders closed their season abruptly in the opening game of the postseason, falling 11-0 in five innings to South Oldham in 29th District Tournament.
