The Trimble County Raiders boys track team brought some hardware back home on Memorial Day by taking first place overall at the Class A Region 5 Meet in Danville. The boys team scored 137 points, besting second place Lexington Christian which had 113 points.
The Class A State Track Meet will take place June 10 at the University of Kentucky. The top two competitors or teams for each regional event will automatically qualify for the state meet, which should send 14 Raiders from the boys and girls teams to Lexington.
