Bouncing back from a 74-60 loss at Henry County the night before, the Trimble County Raiders enjoyed a 75-50 win over Williamstown Saturday on the strength of a 48 percent shooting night from the field.
The Raiders opened with a nine-point run before the visiting Demons got on the scoreboard. Williamstown outscored Trimble 16-8 over the remaining five minutes of the first period to take a 18-17 advantage at the quarter break but the pendulum of momentum swung decisively in favor of the Raiders in the second quarter.
