Just one year after the Trimble County Raiders varsity football program was disbanded due to low participation, a group of students will take the field this season as the football program is relaunched with a junior varsity team.
Head coach Brian Simmins has recruited 25 kids and counting, all of whom are currently training hard in order to be prepared when the team’s first kickoff comes around Aug. 26.
